Venues like the McCormick Home Ranch are among my favorite types – plenty of space, rustic, rural, and vintage farming equipment adorning the property to really lock in those country vibes. The House itself represents an earlier era of high-class living, complete with a carriage porch on the side, where one can imagine horse-drawn buggies bringing guests who might be stopping by for tea or lemonade on a hot summer day. We showed up with a carriage of our own, the Dazzling Donuts Cart, to serve our Mini Donuts for a wedding. Dining tables, dance floor, and DJ were arranged in the front courtyard of the property, providing a lovely perspective to watch the sun set, as people gave heartfelt toasts to the newlyweds. After dinner, guests were able to visit the bar which was inside a converted Volkswagen Bus. How retro! Their next stop, of course, was to get delicious donuts with custom toppings from our cart, which we offered throughout the evening. All that dancing made guests work up an appetite for dessert, which we were happy to provide!
